Resume template for Order Picker

An order picker CV needs to be short and operational. Logistics leads filter on shift availability, scanner experience, picks-per-hour where measured, and language skills for safety briefings. Long resumes hurt — one page is ideal, two pages maximum. Quantify throughput and accuracy where you can, and be explicit about which scanning system and pick method (voice, light, RF) you have used.

Recommended template
Minimal — single column, no photo

Minimal layout without photo works best — quick to scan, ATS-friendly, no visual noise distracting from the operational facts.

Profile example

„Reliable Order Picker with 3 years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment. Comfortable with voice picking and RF scanners. Average pick rate 95 lines/hour at 99.5% accuracy. Available for early, late, and weekend shifts.“

Tips specific to Order Picker

Frequently asked questions

Do I need previous picking experience?

Not strictly. Reliability and shift fit often matter more. Career changers are common in this role.

Should I include pick numbers?

Yes if you have them — they are the most credible signal. If you don't, leave it out rather than estimate.

How important is the order-picker license?

Helpful — many warehouses combine ground-level picking with high-bay work. Mention you are willing to obtain it if you don't have it.
